About
The Students’ Association of the Physics Department is a relatively recent initiative that is proving to be a godsend for intra-department student relations.
The Department is much smaller in terms of student body size than any other on campus, and hence a formal student association was a long time in coming. It took till 2006 for the body finally to be formed.
Since then, the SAPD has been extremely active. From conducting Physics Olympiads to publishing Department magazines, from designing the Department’s first ever T-shirt to organizing valedictory functions, the SAPD does it all.
Thus, the SAPD is the perfect vehicle for the voice of the Physics student community at IITB to be heard.
