Title: Studying Matter through Particle Correlations in High-Energy Physics.

-

Speaker: Anoop P, Physics Dept

Abstract: High-energy nuclear collisions create extreme conditions where a short-lived state of strongly interacting matter, the quark–gluon plasma, can be formed. Particle and charge correlations provide a way to study the properties and evolution of this matter by examining the relationships between particles produced in the collisions. In this work, correlations involving baryons and strange hadrons, along with charge correlations, are studied using Monte Carlo event generators such as PYTHIA and JETSCAPE to understand particle production, quantum-number conservation, and hadronization across different collision systems.
