Title: Organic Electronics: Past – Present - Future
Speaker: Prof. K.S. Narayan, JNCASR, Bangaluru
Abstract: Since the 1970’s a quite revolution in materials was ushered by the advent of conducting polymers. The punctuated progress of the family of synthetic materials that closely resembles conventional metals and semiconductors in terms of the properties, but have completely different mechanical attributes and processing methods will be emphasised. Highlights of the progress in the field with representative examples from our laboratory will be presented. The fundamental questions and progress in this field with current trends and directions will be presented.
