Prof Madan Rao, Professor of Biological Physics at the Raman Research Institute (RRI), Bangalore and the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Bangalore, and a former student of the Physics Department at IIT Bombay has been awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award of 2016 by IIT Bombay. He will be presented the award during the 57th Foundation Day celebrations on 10th March, 2016.
