Title: Looking for Higgs-Charm Coupling with ATLAS detector

Speaker: Dr. Sanmay Ganguly, University of Tokyo

Abstract: Post Higgs discovery, the coupling of Higgs with electroweak gauge bosons and third generation of fermions are well established. However, direct measurement to second generation of fermions are extremely challenging due to much weaker coupling. In this seminar I will present the latest results from ATLAS experiment (full Run-2) which looked for direct measurement of Higgs coupling to Charm quarks. We will mainly discuss about the channel where Higgs is produced along with a vector boson. We will discuss about latest charm-jet tagging algorithm which are extensively used to increase the sensitivity of the search analysis. We will conclude the discussion with future prospects of such studies.
