Postdoctoral position in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics
A postdoctoral position in theoretical condensed matter physics is open in the department of physics at IIT Bombay. The position is primarily with Hridis Pal, but the selected candidate is welcome to collaborate with other members of the theoretical condensed matter group, such as Soumya Bera and Sumiran Pujari. The selected candidate will be supported by IIT Bombay Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship; for details, in particular the eligibility requirements, please refer to https://www.iitb.ac.in/en/careers/institute-post-doctoral-fellows-recruitment. The project will involve topics mainly related to interaction and transport in topological semimetals. A basic knowledge of quantum field theory as used in quantum condensed matter physics is necessary. Computational expertise at the level of Mathematica or Matlab is sufficient.
To apply, the candidate is requested to send their CV (with a list of publications) and statement of research to Hridis Pal at . After initial screening, two letters of recommendation will be required--the shortlisted candidates will be notified about this later, no need to send the letters now. The position will remain open until filled.
